New Cases Top Out In Sarpy/Cass

PLATTSMOUTH – New cases of COVID-19 appear to have topped out in the Sarpy/Cass Health Department in the week of May 30.

The health district had 189 new cases that week and 99 cases the week of June 6.

The Sarpy/Cass Health Department reports 11 active cases of COVID-19 in the Plattsmouth zip code, compared to two other active cases south of the Platte River.

The Plattsmouth zip code area has had 28 cases and one death. There are 16 recoveries and 11 active.

Less than 50 of the 804 confirmed cases in the health district have required hospitalization.
