Plattsmouth Closes Playgrounds
Parks remain open, but users are directed not to use equipment
PLATTSMOUTH - The City of Plattsmouth issued an order Wednesday closing playground equipment to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The order posted on Facebook also closes ballfields, soccer fields and other equipment in Rhylander, Garfield and Memorial Parks.
City parks, as well as the dog park, remain open, but park users are asked not to use any equipment and to adhere to social distancing.
The equipment is off limits because it can not be sanitized for virus.
