Auburn Mayor Declares State of Emergency
Auburn closes city hall to walk-in traffic, congregate meals suspended at Senior Center

AUBURN – Mayor Dan White has declared a state of emergency due to the novel coronavirus.
His declaration allows the city to receive state and federal funding and invokes mutual aid agreements.
The declaration says the threat of COVID-19 endangers the health, safety and welfare of the residents with cases confirmed in Nebraska.
The mayor said the pandemic is putting a lot of cities in uncharted territory and the declaration is just a preparation.
Auburn earlier announced the closing of city hall to walk-in traffic.
Congregate meals at the Auburn Senior Center are suspended. Meals on Wheels will continue.
The Auburn Memorial Library is offering curbside service. WiFi is available for outdoor visitors.
