AUBURN – Chief Nemaha County Deputy Attorney Angelo Ligouri has filed 15 counts against an Auburn man alleging first degree sexual assault or visual depiction of sexual conduct.
Brian M. Betts, 51, is charged with rape of a child in 2013 and multiple rapes in 2018 and forcing a child to participate in the production of pornography.
Arraignment is scheduled Feb. 11.

Betts is also scheduled for a bench trial in Nemaha County on Feb. 24 on 16 counts alleging rape of a child victim and forced pornography in 2017 and 2018. A different victim is alleged in the allegations scheduled for trial.
Court documents say investigators allege that the 2018 offenses began after Betts was released from parole.
Nebraska Department of Corrections records say Betts served 20 months for possession in 2016.
