Dos Santos Suspected Of Burglary

SIDNEY – The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office reports an arrest Thursday linked to a burglary at the Riverside Inn in Riverton, Iowa.

A sheriff office press release says deputies observed structural damage to the building and damage to objects inside. Surveillance video from the early morning hours shows a man known to deputies as 42-year-old Christopher Dos Santos.

While on scene, deputies observed Dos Santos walking past the exterior of the bar and placed him under arrest.

The sheriff’s office says items stolen from the bar were located at Dos Santos’ residence.

He is suspected of burglary and criminal mischief.
