State Patrol Finds Meth In Nebraska City Traffic Stop
Van without license plates stopped for rolling through Eighth Street stop sign
NEBRASKA CITY – A Nebraska City woman faces a methamphetamine possession charge after being stopped by the Nebraska State Patrol on Oct.10.
An arrest affidavit says the state trooper noticed a Chrysler Town and Country did not have license plates and rolled through a stop sign near Eighth Street and First Avenue.
The state trooper said the driver, 50-year-old Sherry Evey, gave him permission to search her purse, where methamphetamine was found. She is also charged with open container because of an Old Milwaukee can in the cup holder of the van.
