Inmate To Serve More Time After Spitting Assault

TECUMSEH – A Tecumseh state prison inmate has been sentenced in Johnson County for assault with a bodily fluid.

Terrell Richards, 33, is serving a six-year sentence for robbery in Douglas County, but has three sentences in Lancaster County for spitting at others with hepatitis C.

The Johnson County sentence of two years includes 18 months post-release supervision. It came after prosecutors agreed not to file a new case from an April incident.
