Johnson Woman Charged With Methamphetamine

Woman was riding in grain truck stopped by state troopers

NEBRASKA CITY – Missy Sales, 33, of Johnson has been charged in Otoe County with possession of methamphetamine.

Court records say Sales was a passenger in a truck that pulling a grain trailer on Highway 75 on Sept. 6.

A Nebraska State Patrol trooper pulled over the truck and reports that it was overweight on both tandem axles.

Court records say a pipe with meth residue was found in Sales’ purse during a search of the vehicle.

In other court action, bond was set at $10,000 for LeKrista McCart, 27, of Nebraska City. She is charged with possession of meth on Sept. 8.
