Felony Domestic Assault Charges Filed Against Pawnee City Man

 PAWNEE CITY – Felony charges of domestic violence have been filed against a Pawnee City man.

Court records say Kelly Red Tomahawk, 33, is scheduled for arraignment Sept. 19.

Deputies say they responded to a report in Pawnee City of a woman locked inside her house with a man trying to break in and made contact with Tomahawk.

The woman told investigators that she had been assaulted during an altercation the night before. She said she had been hit and had to pry the assaulter’s fingers off her neck.

Tomahawk denied any memory of alleged offenses.
