Rollover accident behind 11th Street hardware store

NEBRASKA CITY – Nebraska City Fire and Rescue responded to a rollover accident on the backside of the Westlake Ace Hardware at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

A Kansas-plated Buick Encore GX went over a curb on a curve of Grundman Boulevard. The car went down a steep embankment to a retaining wall and then fell about 14 feet after going over the wall.

A patient was taken to CHI Health St. Mary’s Hospital just up the hill.
