Richard Dell Aufenkamp, age 93 of Auburn, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026, at Pawnee County Memorial Hospital in Pawnee City, Nebraska.

 

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law Joy and Rick Redden of Kearney, Karen Sue and Tim McCutcheon of Casper, WY; son and daughter-in-law Arlin and Diane Aufenkamp of Brownville; grandchildren (spouses) Adam (Megan) Novell, Jason (Andrea) Novell, Lee Redden, Kerri (Sean) McDermid, Ben (Tiffany) Jones, Whitney McCutcheon, Ryan (Bailey) Aufenkamp, April (Matt) Joy, Amber (Christopher) Ryan, Amy (Trace) Gumb; great-grandchildren Owen, Kyler, Nina, Nicklynn, Nova, Taryn, Samara, Jason, Jackson, Zola, Bennett, Tucker, Aria, Joslyn, Brady, Andi, Wesley, Leo, Briggs, Cooper; other relatives and friends.

 

A funeral service will be Sunday, January 4, 1:00 p.m. at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn.  Burial will follow in the Nemaha Cemetery.  

 

Memorials are suggested to the Nemaha Cemetery.
