Sue “Hummel” Harris, age 73 of Auburn, passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.

 

Survivors include her daughter Samantha Thompson of Missouri; grandchildren Ryan, Harley, and Dakota; brother and sister-in-law Chuck and Emily Hummel of Auburn; aunts Donna Reeves of Maryville, MO and Wynona Hummel of Council Bluffs, IA; uncle Duayne Holland of South Dakota; nieces Angela (Chad) Hoover and Rachael (Adam) Koenig; nephew Keenan Webb; cousins, other relatives, and friends.

 

A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, January 3, 11:00 a.m. at the Brownville Christian Church.  Visitation with the family will be 9:00 a.m. to service time at the church.  Burial of ashes will be on a later date in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.

 

Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers to Brownville Christian Church or Brownville Village Theater.
