LINCOLN, Neb. – The top-ranked Nebraska volleyball team advanced to the NCAA Regional Final with a dominant 25-12, 25-11, 25-12 sweep of No. 16 Kansas on Friday night at John Cook Arena.

Nebraska improved to 33-0 and never trailed in the match, hitting .450 while holding Kansas to a season-low .029 attack percentage. The Huskers also held advantages in blocks (10-1), digs (48-30) and service aces (6-1).

Nebraska’s middle blockers led the way, combining for 21 kills on 28 error-free swings. Rebekah Allick finished with nine kills on nine attempts to hit 1.000 and added three blocks. Andi Jackson also had nine kills while hitting .600 and recorded five blocks. Manaia Ogbechie added three kills in the third set.

Harper Murray contributed seven kills and a match-high 10 digs. Bergen Reilly dished out 30 assists, and Olivia Mauch recorded a season-high three service aces.

Nebraska jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the opening set and extended the advantage with a 6-0 run to go up 10-1. The Huskers continued to control the match, winning the first set 25-12, the second 25-11 and closing out the sweep with another 25-12 win in the third.

Kansas was led by three players with six kills each.

With the victory, Nebraska advanced to an NCAA Regional Final for the 34th time in program history, the most in NCAA history. The Huskers will face No. 6 Texas A&M on Sunday. The Aggies advanced with a five-set win over No. 9 Louisville earlier Friday.
