Michael Dean Buesig, 73, of Hinton, Iowa, passed away on February 2nd, 2025.
Mike was born on April 13, 1951 in Shreveport, Louisiana, and lovingly raised in Hanover, Kansas by parents Marvel L. Rose and Ernest H. Buesig. After he graduated from Hanover High School, Mike began his career with Wheelers Farm Supply Stores, kicking off a long and successful career in Merchandising, specializing in farm and agricultural products. He also worked for Country General in Nebraska and, before his retirement, Bomgaars Supply in Iowa.
In 1979, Mike met Judy Ann Guhde in Auburn, Nebraska, where they married and went on to share 45 years together, raising a family with Midwestern values & work ethic.
Mike was immensely proud of his heritage from a lineage of hard-working farmers in a small Kansas community. From them he learned the importance of hard work, and if there is anything Mike Buesig was, it is a hard worker. He also had a plethora of interests and hobbies, the love of fast cars at the top of the list, his first car being a 1954 turquoise & white Chevy, Belair. Mike also loved martial arts, boating, horses, guitars, and shooting sports. He was a member of SASS (the Single Action Shooting Society), and made friends all around the world.
Mike was predeceased by his parents, 3 siblings, and long-lived loyal canine companions Scout and Cheyenne.
Mike leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life, his wife and, best friend of 45 years Judy A. Buesig; 4 daughters: Trace K. Boley (Tom), Drusilla M. Epp (Matthew), Cassandra A.
