Johnson-Brock Sweeps Falls City-Sacred Heart in Thursday Night Hoops

JOHNSON, NE - The Johnson-Brock Eagles swept the Irish of Falls City-Sacred Heart on Thursday, as heard on B103.
The ladies' contest lived up to the billing of two of River Country's top girls squads as Johnson-Brock nabbed a narrow victory, 52-47. The JB girls are now 16-1, while the FC-SH squad is 16-3. Johnson-Brock got 25 points from Taryn Ottemann & a dozen from Brooklyn Buchmeier. The Irish saw Jentry Lechtenberg hit for 16, while both Daycee Witt and Hallie Jones dropped in eight.
The boys' game was a landslide victory for the host Eagles, 80-45, to keep Johnson-Brock unbeaten at 16-0. FC-SH now sits at 8-9. JB's Camden Dalinghaus sunk 24 points, as both Casen Dalinghaus & Brody Koehler chipped in with 14. FC-SH had balanced scoring with eleven from Bo Fletcher, ten from Cole Taft, and nine off the hands of Toby Baxter.
Next up for Johnson-Brock is a road doubleheader at Southern tonight, while Falls City-Sacred Heart will compete in the Pioneer Conference Tournament that starts on Monday.
