When Glenda's children were young, she dedicated herself to being a stay-at-home mom, focusing on what mattered most to her. In 1978, she began working at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center, where she stayed for 26 years. Glenda was an active member of her church, participating in the Women’s Fellowship and 81'ers, and she and Vernon served as the church janitors for many years. She was also involved with the Friendly Farmerettes extension club. Glenda tended to a large garden, was an excellent cook, and enjoyed sewing various items for her grandchildren. Above all, taking care of her daughter Bonnie was her priority, and she made sure to visit her every week.
She is survived by her children Steve (Rita) Ruenholl, Bonnie Ruenholl, Lori Panko & special friend Tom Dieckgrafe; grandchildren Kari (Patrick) Schroeder, Michelle (Luke) Dutcher, Tara (Chris) Bohaboj, Makayla (Grant) Schippert, Madison (Logan) Lang; great grandchildren Brennan, Makenna & Jennsyn Schroeder, Paisley, Madden, Bergen & Lochlan Dutcher, Lakyn, Brecken & Axton Bohaboj, Baker & Whitley Schippert; siblings Ramona (Norman) Boone and Rita (Rick) Jordan; also many nieces, nephews and friends.
