Authorities release update on fatal June crash near Plattsmouth

PLATTSMOUTH, Neb. -- Authorities have identified the boy who died in a three-vehicle crash last week, as well as the others who were injured during the accident.
In the Hyundai Sonata, officials said the boy who died was identified as 8-year-old Paxton Parker of Glenwood, Iowa.
Within the same vehicle, Sarpy County Sheriff's Office said the female passenger injured was a 9-year-old, who had been taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities said that she is now stable.
The driver of the Hyundai was identified as a 34-year-old from Glenwood, Iowa, and authorities said that she was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Dodge Ram pickup was identified as a 38-year-old man from Plattsmouth. The driver of the Freightliner was identified as a 58-year-old man from Louisville, Nebraska.
The accident reportedly happened just west of Highway 34 and Harlan Lewis Road.
The crash remains under investigation by the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office Crash Response Unit.
Authorities said there are no additional details at this time.
