The Otoe County Fair will celebrate its 150th year with events July 27 to July 30.

A 4-H bake sale is scheduled Thursday, July 26 from 3 to 8 p.m.

Open class entries are Wednesday 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. and 4-H booth judging it at 7 p.m.

Thursday, July 27, events begin with the horse show at 8 a.m. and sheep show at 10 a.m.

The 4-H fashion show is at 6 p.m., followed by Water Balloon Warz at 7 p.m.

Friday events include rabbit and beef shows, The farmers olympics are at 7 p.m.

The hog show starts at 8 a.m. Saturday with poultry at 9 a.m. The Otoe County Fair parade is at 4 p.m. A fireworks show is at dusk.

Sunday events include the open horse show and 1 p.m. livestock sale.

The Otoe County Fairbook is out for 2023 in celebration of 150 years of the county’s Fair Days July 27 to 30.

The Janky to Swanky Contest returns this year. Janky items are brought to the Fair Center at 7 p.m. on July 6 and entered between 7:30 and 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26.
