Man charged with 10 lbs of mushrooms, police traffic stops yield multiple arrests
NEBRASKA CITY –Harlan Martin, 49, of Norfolk, Va., is charged in Otoe County with delivery of controlled mushrooms and marijuana on Aug. 26.
An Otoe County sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle on Fourth Corso and says a K9 detected the odor of narcotics.
An arrest affidavit says 60 pounds of marijuana were found, along with 10 pounds of psychedelic mushrooms in large zip lock bags.
Nebraska City police made three drug arrests following traffic stops Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Donald Svajgl, 36, of Hamburg and Michael Defreece, 44, of Brock are suspected of possession of meth and a 22-year-old Nebraska City man is suspected of possession of marijuana.
Police also arrested a 30-year-old Knoxville, Tenn., man at 3:59 a.m. for driving under the influence.
