Omaha drivers are the worst in the country.

That’s right, not just the county or the state, the entire USA. That according to the auto insurance industry’s “QuoteWizard.”

Driving the dubious distinction is Omaha’s number one ranking in DUI’s, 12th-place standing in accidents and 14th-place ranking in speeding.

Two years ago Omaha’s drivers were ranked the 15th worst.

All this based on an analysis of two million car insurance quotes from drivers in America’s 70 largest cities.

Riverside, California was second worst.

The best drivers were located in Birmingham, Alabama, according to the study.
