Louisville lakes make top 10 for largemouth bass and blue gill

LINCOLN - Nebraska Game and Parks issued its 2026 fishing forecast.
Sampling charts list Louisville lake 1 among the top 10 for largemouth bass and lake 3 is sixth for bluegill.
The Missouri River is listed for large flathead catfish.
The top fishing spots are forecast at Standing Bear in northwest Omaha, Box Butte Reservoir in the Sand Hills, Sutherland Reservoir near North Platte, Leisure Lake at Fremont and Winters Creek Lake in the North Platte National Wildlife Refuge.
The forecast has the largest largemouth bass at Darr Wildlife Management Area near Lexington.
