Peru State to host D2 play competition

PERU  - Peru State College is hosting the Nebraska School Activities Association D2-1 play production competition on Saturday, Dec. 6.

Seven high school one-act teams will present their productions at the college’s Performing Arts Center.

Winners will advance to the state play production championships in Norfolk.

Performances begin at 9 a.m. with Lewiston, followed by Dorchester and High Plains Community.

Falls City Sacred Heart is scheduled at noon, followed by Shickley, Hampton and Sterling.

The Peru Theatre Company’s Lucas Hrabik and Laura Gold are competition directors.
